Theology FAQs

Ever felt a little embarrassed that you don't really know the difference between 'Post' & 'A' Millennialism? Or would just a like a short and easy to read explanation of terms like Pelagianism, semi-Pelagianism, sensus plenior, Calvinism, Dispensationalism, Biblical Theology (as opposed to Systematic Theology)....etc. Or wondered how do God's Sovereignty and human responsibility coexist....

Then the MONERGISM website has a great list of such FAQs - HERE.

It will even explain what 'monergism' means!

An excellent site for books and theological reflection.

This looks really interesting, and I'll try and read through them all.

I think its description of arminiasm is incorrect, though. It says they belive 'man is not so depraved that he cannot naturally seek God'. Wesley (arguably the most famous of arminians) certainly believed nothing of the kind, and as far as I can see, neither did Arminius himself.

The descriptions of arminianism sound more to me like what calvinists think arminians believe than what arminians actually believe.

Anyway - better get on with some work
